Senator Crapo Holding Town Hall Meeting on Farm Bill (7/21/2008)

Senator Mike Crapo is hosting an iTownhall meeting on the evening ofAugust 6t, 2008, to discuss the new farm bill. Don Dixon, StateDirector of the USDA Farm Service Agency; Jeff Burwell, StateConservationist with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service;and Mike Field, State Director for USDA Rural Development will join himon the call. The iTownHall is simply a conference call with Idahoans, and uses atelephone/Internet program to allow those wishing to do so to askquestions. All that is needed to participate is a telephone and 90minutes of your time. Participants do not need Internet or computeraccess during the call. Signing up for the iTownHall meeting is easy. All you need to do issend an e-mail to his communcations director, Susan Wheeler, atsusan.wheeler@crapo.senate.gov, with Farm Bill meeting in the subject line. *Please include your name,a telephone number for evening hours, and address in the body of thee-mail. Organizations may submit lists of members who would like toparticipate. That's all the information that is needed. You will beadded to the call list to be called that evening. If you wish toparticipate, please submit the e-mail no later than August 4, 2008. The iTownHall Farm Bill meeting will be held on Wednesday, August6, 2008, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. MDT; 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. PDT.Calls are placed starting about 10 minutes before the scheduled starttime of the meeting, and will continue for about 20 minutes until allthe calls are made. That means that you may end up joining the meeting alittle later than the scheduled start time.
