Idaho Waterfowl Association Forum Guidelines
The forum guidelines for posting are important and should be read and accepted before you choose to participate. The IWA and the waterfowl community encourage contributors who are courteous, polite and respectful. We discourage those who choose to behave in a disrespectful and/or irresponsible manner. The IWA volunteer moderators (and Board of Directors) will take appropriate steps to ensure discussions adhere to these guidelines.
In general, we will leave it to you, the community, to manage your own conduct. We ask that you treat other forum participants with respect. Please remember that this is a public venue read by many people of a variety of backgrounds. If you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of a forum discussion post, you may discuss that via private messages with the author of the post. You may also send a private message to the forum moderators.
Discussion forums are moderated to preserve the spirit of an open, interactive discussion without offending participants. Please understand that we are not attempting to censor any messages or opinions. Specifically, the guidelines are as follows:
1.Registration is free and is currently open to members of the IWA and non-members alike. 2.The forum administrators and moderators will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off the forum. 3.The moderators of the forum shall be assigned by the IWA Board of Directors. 4.By participating in the use of the forum, users agree to NOT post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually oriented, hateful, personal attacks, or threatening. 5.The moderators have the right to remove, edit, or close any thread or post that does not follow these guidelines or is detrimental to the mission of the IWA. The moderators have the right to ban users from the forum with a 2/3 approval from the Board of Directors. Each situation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Decisions to ban a user from the forum will be documented in the Board of Directors forum. 6.Disagreements are bound to arise and indeed are good for the overall growth and mission of the IWA. But please use some common sense. When posts step beyond what is viewed as reasonable disagreements they will be deleted.
